 The pine forest and wild animals in Brooks Memorial State Park north of Goldendale, WA provided a lovely setting for the first Northwest Holy Convocation, September 11th-15th, 2002. People came from all over Oregon and Washington as well as Idaho and Montana and states beyond to share and pray together for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a heart preparation for the soon coming of Christ. Stirring and convicting messages were given on many aspects of present truth including our need of the Holy Spirit, effective evangelism and maintaining a closer walk with the Lord. Many opportunities were available for seasons of prayer and hearts were knit together in bonds of brotherly love as all came to a deeper realization of their need for a greater devotion to Christ.
 It was agreed by all that this should not be the last such gathering and plans are being made for one or more convocations in 2003. All who possibly can, should take the opportunity to receive the blessings these meetings afford. The inspired counsel is, “Come, brethren and sisters, to these sacred convocation meetings, to find Jesus. He will come up to the feast. He will be present, and He will do for you that which you most need to have done.” Testimonies, vol.5, 575.
